Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an Mexican American sportscaster. Her current job is with ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. She began her career at ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been bilingual since the age nine years old a useful talent that enabled her to get her first job as a production associate at Univision in Miami and gave her the chance to collaborate with producers of national programming like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. After this her first job, she was hired by the CBS channel located in St. Petersburg employed her as a sports reporter. She worked as a journalist for KNVO TV 48 Univision in Rio Grande Valley Texas. Covering stories relating to illegal immigration as well as drug trafficking across the Texas as well as the Mexico frontier, she served as a news reporter for Fox2 News, which is a Spanish channel KNVO TV48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. The anchor also acted as a fill-in anchors on sports and weather. Then she became the anchor reporter and anchor for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. She was then given more responsibility. She was a reporter for all of the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason and finals FC Dallas as well. Antonietta's parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. The family moved to Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in the month of November in 1985. She is younger than her sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico to the US and relocated to Miami. Their divorce was soon followed and her mother married one of the naval architects named Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. She resided in Canton Ohio with her older sister during the summer, in which she was offered the chance to get a job. A senior in high school and yet having an idea of about what she wanted to pursue with her life Antonietta was able to visit The University of Mount Union to see if it would meet her needs. The result was that she loved the school and they offered the course she wanted. After completing her high school studies, she decided to go to the University to pursue media studies. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU Radio and was member of her class, developed a lasting relationship with her. Professor Bergmann was a great influence on her by his passion about journalism. The professor also had a profound impact on her.
